landscape

the picture of the trees in fall is taken by MIKE BARTON. i choose this picture because i like how it has different shapes of horizontal lines, and how the trees are kind of like stacked up on top of each other it looks like. And how the trees have mutiple color to them, like it brings a different feeling to the picture.
the other three pictures i took, because i dont know actually. But i like them because to me there not just regular landscaping picture. i like how the one of the wood, is not just of the woods, it has more shapes in it to bring the picture out more. and the one of the sign with the trees stands out because the sign, i think the sign puts the feelings of where the landscaping is like tells a story kind off. And i like the flowers because they're cool, and i like how the color of the flowers just stand out in general.

Diversity photo.

For the diversity photo , We picked to show diversity in the arts , we picked a dancer , actor , and artist . I thought this was the most hardiest photo shoots that we did because we were in a group and everybody wanted didn't things , also we didn't have all are models on time . So that made it even harder , It was pretty irritating setting up with no models . Always I didn't know how hard directing model were , I had to tell them what to do even where its there profession . But other than that I liked working with the models , I learned a lot . Another thing placing the models was pretty hard , because we had a bar , and we had to make sure that the bar wasn't sticking out in the wrong places , the contrasts is pretty dark and the models are look white . But I like how the picture come out , it look real and live . If I had to do it again , I would but change something that I did , like the model , have that all straight out before they came .

Natural Lighting

For Natural lighting i had my model sit down so she's facing the door that i was using , Im using the door as natural lighting , i was inspired by Marnjari Sharma's , she did a lot of natural lighting in her bath room , well that was what she was known as. At the beginning of the photo shoot i had to make a connection with my model we were talking a lot about her life , and the things she like to do , i had to do that because that's one of the key ways to make the photo look as real as possible , having a connection  . After I had to decide where I wanted my model , that part was pretty difficult because I couldn't find the right lighting area that was going to make her eyes glow , I had to make sure her eyes weren't  died , Marnjari Sharma's was also known to have the most live eyes , her models eyes were never died . I like Natural light because you don't have to get extra lighting and other stuff , you can just be natural and use your model and the camera no other destractions . If I had to do this again I would , because it was a lot of fun with the model , and i liked you using the window or door lighting . I always liked the contrast , it made the model really glow .

Manjari Sharma

reading the article about Manjari Sharma really infulenced me and gave me more of an understanding on how a portrait should look as far as the qualities of a  good portrait. how she always makes a connnection with whoever shes photo shooting at the time ,even with them being a compelte stranger to her. she makes them feel comfortable, and not in a awkward situtation. And in the picture you can see the emotions and the connection made in their facial expressions. you can really see the difference in the photo ,and can tell its not just some snap shot. And reading about her made me realize that I have been missing some big chunks in taking portraits of people I'm shooting ,to make it have that million dollar look to it. And this picture is an example of one of the pictures that inspired me. its has emotion to it.

photoSHOP Assignment .

this photoshop assignment was pretty fun.i edited both of these pictures using the smoothing tools and making her face look smoother and sharpening her eyes more in them so the can stand out more. and i also made the symbols on her shirt sharper more to kind of stand out more. but in the picture to the right i added paint to it to give the picture more interest to it and kind of put the girl in a area. i choose to add the plants and bird to this picture mainly because of the way she was dressed with the tidye shirt with different symbol made it her personality more nature like, so i thought that by adding the plants and bird it will help give the picture more of a story feeling and put people looking at it in a certain theme.

Sequence

photoshop .

I chose these pictures... I cropped the world using lacso tool and copied it and then pasted it to this desert . I  chose to do this because I thought it would be a cool  picture and  it looked interesting. This project wasn't that challenging, I liked doing it. It is pretty random, but it's pretty neat .

self Portrait

While doing this self portraits using photo booth and photoshop, i had to take multiple pictures of myself enquiring four different characteristics and personalities. By doing that i used different prompts to bring different effects to my photos like wigs, glasses, hats, and clothing. After selecting my four best pictures i dragged them into photoshop to put them all together. First after dragging them to photoshop i cropped the photos, then i zoomed out of the picture so i grab it with the marquee tool and copied and paste it to a blank file. And did that four times to each photo. After doing those steps i saved it and uploaded them to my blog. I actually really like my self-portraits i think they came out better then i thought. I can see in my pictures all the different characteristics and personalities in the four photo.

studio lighting

in the picture on the left theres a young man biting on flowers and pulling on is shirt. in this portrait it looks pretty well focus with pretty good exposure. i looks steady, so there was a tripod used to take this photo. i like this picture because its a nice portait of him with a nice pose. and i like how one side of his face is shadowed and the other half is light. but i dont like this picutre becausee i should have angled the camera a little bit better so that the background isnt cut off, because it kind of distracts the point of the photo.i wanted this picture to say "yeah im bad".

the picture to the right side is of the same person. in this picture hes more settled with a more safisticated look. again this picture was taken on a tripod. the exposure looks pretty good to me. i like how in this picture you can really see the shadows in the background. i dont like this picture come to thinkk. it looks kind of fogged at the bottom a little bit in the corner.i want this picture to say "safisticated"
